100 best sites for the year

December 18th, 2008

The Guardian has put together a list of what it considers the best sites of the year. A lot of them you’ll know if you spend far too much time looking around the internet for the next best thing. Some interesting ones are the Dabbledb which allows you to create databases out of spreadsheets and change them on the fly to create dynamic views. Monitter which is a live search/monitoring service for Twitter – you type in keywords you want to track and away it goes. But then again there’s a myriad of twitter products cropping up all over the place at the moment. They breakdown the categories into social, news, photos, video, offbeat etc…

Have a look and rate yourself to how clued in you are when it comes to whats perceived to be in vogue at the moment.
